Welcome to my portfolio website! Here you will find a collection of my accomplishments, my projects, and the technologies I am working on and learning about. I have been refining my coding skills for a few years now while discovering what it means to be a full stack developer, and I want to use these skills to help build customized websites tailored to my clients’ needs. Before I ever started coding websites, I was curious about the hardware side of things. I built my first computer in 2014 and later picked up an interest in Arduino, which is a microcontroller that lets you control LEDs, motors, and sensors. This was the first coding language I learned which bridged the gap from hardware to software. When I first thought of creating this website, I wanted to create a self hosted server so I can understand the whole top-to-bottom process. I deployed a Kubernetes cluster to be able to host any online application with flexibility. It allows automating software deployment, scaling, and management. This was important to me because I wanted to be confident where the data is flowing in my applications and to have total control and transparency. On top of this infrastructure I am building apps with these technologies : The Front End - NextJs/React, Back End - Node/Springboot, Databases - PostgreSQL/MariaDB. This allows me to accomplish a high level of customization and adaptability to figure out the best fit for any project. There are many great tech combinations out there, and I want to help you figure out what will provide the most value. Over the years I have been constantly learning and enjoying the software development process. Whenever I figure out a bug in my code or when the program runs without a hitch I feel a sense of accomplishment and that I am taking the right steps forward into my career. My journey has just started, and this is my first project to put out into the world. I will be creating many more exciting applications for you and I to use and enjoy! Thank you Darius
